Our bodies are powerful beings that are able to carry multiple things in the mind, heart and physical. Those ideas and objects mold us into who we are. Just like in "the things they carry", Tim obrien as well as all the men in his unit I carry things that affect who I am daily. 

As far as physical goes I always carry my bag. One day it might me a purse the next a duffle bag, but in my routine a bag is always needed. A bag holds many wonders, inside it might be just what I need or what I've been looking for.

When it comes to a more mental baggage I carry my personal goals which include graduating high school and college, for starters and becoming someone greater and more affluent than my past generations. Altough becoming wealthy may sound a bit materialistic, I mean it in the best way. Partly to help myself but mostly to help those around me and dear to me.

My martha would deffinetly be my boyfriend juan, this might sound a bit predictable, but I choose him because he is the one person who helps me cope through not very plesurable situations. Priscilla, esteemed best-friend is also someone I always carry with me in my heart. I always have interesting escapades with her and when I'm not having such a blissful time she's there to change that. Without these two I'd be lost. 

Toughtful, athletic, and independent are all adjetives I can use to describe myself. Toughtful because I always do my best to consider others well beign when taking crucial decisions . Athletic because I absolutely love sports, soccer in particular. Plus I enjoy staying fit and healthy. Independant because I'm forced to find my own ride and money most of the times by my parents, in result of that I learned to take matters into my own hands. I carry these words as toughts to remind me of who I am and always want to be. 

Memories are there to prevent making the same mistake and to keep a hold of people and things we love. The most influentual memory I have is the one of my hamster dying because I didn't supply his essential needs. The image reminds me never to adopt an pet without commiting to carefor his or her life.
